Open to manufacturing and engineering businesses of all types.
2020 was a year like no other. The pandemic has brought new challenges, new opportunities, new ways of working.
Every business has a story to tell. Red Rose Awards 2021 wants to share those stories.
The starting point is that you whatever you make you are passionate about ‘making it’ in Lancashire – the manufacturing heartland of the UK.
It could be plastic products, aircraft components, chemicals, furniture, steel structures, clothing, textiles, electronics, food, machines…
We know many manufacturers have at least in part pivoted their operations, whether towards Covid efforts, or because their market place was disrupted or changed.
Our judges want to know how you did that, the impact of the changes you made and how you are planning for the future. For some, there will also be impacts from the end of the EU transition period.
Judges will also be interested in how you are investing and developing new products, techniques, skills and processes and how you are maintaining and increasing your operations in established and new markets.
And they’ll want to understand your business strategy.
