The University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) is backing the Red Rose Awards 2017 for the second year, reprising its role as the official judging partner.
Four representatives from the University will sit on judging panels to help determine the winners of the awards, which celebrate achievements within Lancashire’s thriving business community.
The awards ceremony will take place at The Winter Gardens in Blackpool on March 9.
UCLan’s John Lonsdale said: “Lancashire has a great business community and we are extremely proud to support the awards which recognise excellence and achievements. UCLan has several business support services available to Lancashire firms and a strong track record for helping people achieve business goals, and we are looking forward to meeting the nominees and hearing their stories in February.”
Richard Slater, publisher of Lancashire Business View and producer of the Red Rose Awards, said: “We are delighted to have UCLan on board as our official judging partner for the second year.
“Their support and expertise are a welcome addition to our awards process – they lead the way in navigating us through the scores of entries received.
“The awards are judged completely independently, so working with UCLan on this once again is invaluable – throughout the whole entry and shortlisting processes and especially on our very busy and exciting judging days!”
