Jason Kingston, director at Cube Thinking, explains why the organisation supports the Red Rose Awards.
RRA: How did Cube Thinking first get involved with the Red Rose Awards?
JK: Last year we were privileged to be guests at the Red Rose Awards ceremony, as part of our work with the Boost Lancashire team. We loved it and wanted to be part of the action for 2021 as we celebrate Lancashire successes after the recent challenges.
RRA: What changes have you seen in the Red Rose Awards over the years that you have been involved?
JK: Although we are relative newcomers to the awards, our clients tell us they have loved how the awards remain current and on the pulse with where the business action is.
RRA: What is the most rewarding part of being a sponsor?
JK: Being involved is a chance to endorse a part of the fantastic Lancashire economy, with the excitement of seeing the amazing talent our county has and the stories behind the nominations.
RRA: How do you feel that the Red Rose Awards benefit Lancashire?
JK: The shine provided on the Lancashire economy and business community by the awards drives up such pride in the county’s achievements. We were speechless at last year’s awards at how the full spectrum of business activity was represented under one roof and entertained to the highest standard too.
RRA: How do you feel that your involvement with the Red Rose Awards benefits Cube Thinking?
JK: It is an opportunity to cascade the networking and association kudos to our clients, they are fully in our mind, and as they grow we grow too.
RRA: Do you have any words of advice for businesses who may be considering entering this year?
JK: Your stories will be amazing, the mindsets that converted challenges into opportunities are what we would love to hear about. Be rawthentic!
