Mattioli Woods, leading provider of wealth management and employee benefit services in the UK, are supporting the Red Rose Awards 2021 for their fifth year, as the Go Green Award category sponsor.
Keith Pressler, senior wealth management consultant at Mattioli Woods, shared with us why they support the Red Rose Awards.
RRA: How did Mattioli Woods first get involved with the Red Rose Awards?
KP: It has always been important to Mattioli Woods to support the local communities where we are based, therefore it was clear that we should be involved with an initiative as important to Lancashire as the Red Rose Awards.
RRA: What changes have you seen in the Red Rose Awards over the years that you have been involved?
KP: Being involved in the Red Rose Awards for so many years has given us the opportunity to witness just how many businesses have been created and grown within the area, something that is evident by the depth and level of the nominated companies.
RRA: What is the most rewarding part of being a sponsor?
KP: Being a sponsor and judge gives us the opportunity to meet the business owners, to talk to them and see their passion and enthusiasm for what their business – and themselves – are doing.
RRA: How do you feel that the Red Rose Awards benefit Lancashire?
KP: Lancashire is such a close-knit community and everyone looks to support local business. The Red Rose Awards brings that feeling together, promoting not just the organisations but Lancashire as a county.
RRA: How do you feel that your involvement with the Red Rose Awards benefits Mattioli Woods?
KP: We are passionate about providing financial education to help support businesses with their mental health and wellbeing as well as their financial health. By working with the Red Rose Awards we are able to help more businesses to succeed by simply supporting them with their financial planning, employee benefits and everything in between.
Since the awards were launched in 2011, it has steadily grown and become the centrepiece attraction for the business community.
Entries for the awards have now closed. The finalists will be announced on September 10, and they will then be given the opportunity to put their best case to the judges on September 22 and 23.
